Have you noticed anything different about London in the last few days?
Me neither.
And yet there is a difference: The mayor isn’t in town. He’s off in the Far East whipping up business deals.
My point is the Forest City is doing just fine, even though our elected leader is worlds away. For the vast majority of us, life goes on as normal. We go about our daily lives as we’ve always done. Nothing has changed. We’re not hurting for a lack of leadership.
As a libertarian, I believe the government that governs best, governs least. I think if we really tried, we’d be amazed at what we can do our own, without the “help” of City Hall, or Queen’s Park, or Ottawa. Just relying on ourselves, and our own sense of right and wrong, you’d be surprised what we can accomplish together.
